Hey, lovely people!
Here is the another post in collaboration with Péro by Aneeth Arora.Péro by Aneeth Arora is truly one such label which makes you look so chic, elegant and comfy at the same time.Pero means “to wear” in Marwari, the local language of Rajasthan. The Designer Aneeth Arora succeeded at carrying forward the Indian tradition of hand-crafting and creating the pieces that are at once unique.
While using the local techniques she designs the garments in a way which makes it easily and casually wearable in the streets of Paris, London and New York( internationally.) Undoubtedly, I loved the 2016 spring summer collection with beautiful hand crochet dresses, broad jersey tanks, linen jackets, and off course the phenomenal ‘Pajama party’ theme. The spring summer collection was a full mix of hand-woven khadi from west Bengal, brocade from Banaras, use of crochet for which they worked with a group of 15 to 20 refugee women from Afghanistan and the beautiful hand embroidery.
From using the local hand-woven fabrics, hand embroidered mulmuls, sheer cotton chandheri from Madhya Pradesh, and their signature Kane Selvedge which could be easily identified on the edges and hems of the outfits.
I absolutely love trying new things especially when it comes to choosing new outfits, and this time I picked up this gold color handwoven trench coat from Pero spring summer collection 2016.What really impresses about this Oh so chic trench coat is the silhouette, the color and the fabric used in the designing and those lovely jewel beaded buttons.
I tried to kept the look minimal and casual by wearing this LBD underneath and completed my look with these phenomenal accessories from Pratinava the blue windowed balcony sling bag and the very sexy black faux fringe boots.
Hope you guys enjoyed the post!
